Checkered fabric is a classic and a recurring phenomenon in fashion. In a woven check jacquard, the checks are created by regularly changing the color of the yarns used. This creates a checkered design.
Why checkered fabric?
Checked fabric comes in all kinds of color combinations and check shapes. Checks offer many options: from a subtle, classic checkered blouse, to a casual checked lumberjack. The gingham or Vichy check, consisting of two colors, is a popular check. Another well-known type of check is the Houndstooth, this check is very suitable as a winter coat fabric.
